DES MOINES, IOWA (July 30, 2020) — Effective today, Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg has been selected to again chair the Midwest Region on the National Lieutenant Governors Association’s (NLGA) Executive Committee, becoming one of four regional chairs of the association. He previously served on the NLGA Executive Committee from July 2018 to July 2019, and chair of the midwest region beginning July of 2019.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 27, 2020) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of John Flynn as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B.

Flynn, of Boone, Iowa, currently practices law with the Jordan and Mahoney Law Firm PC in Boone. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his law degree from the Drake University Law School.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 20, 2020) — A new Test Iowa clinic site opens today in Plymouth County.

The site is opening in conjunction with Floyd Valley Healthcare and will be located at 714 Lincoln Street NE in LeMars. Testing will be done 1-5PM, Monday through Friday, this week.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 8, 2020) — A new Test Iowa clinic site is scheduled to open in Kossuth County on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

The new clinic site will be located at the former Ernie Williams Harley Shop at 2701 US-Hwy 18 in Algona. Hours of operation this week are: Wednesday. July 8, 8AM-4:30PM; Thursday, July 9, 1-4PM; and Friday, July 10, 8:30-10:30AM.
