DES MOINES, IOWA (November 13, 2020) Governor Kim Reynolds has announced that Michael Boal has been promoted to Senior Legal Counsel in the Office of the Governor. Boal has served as the Governor's Deputy Legal Counsel since November 2018, and replaces Sam Langholz, who is joining the Office of the Attorney General.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 12, 2020) The Office of Governor Kim Reynolds announced that Senior Legal Counsel Sam Langholz will leave his role in the governor’s office and take a new position with Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller at the end of the month.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 5, 2020)  Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) have announced the launch of the new Iowa Movie Theatre Relief Program. The program will provide short-term relief to eligible movie theatres for the purpose of continuing or resuming operations in the context of the public health emergency.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 4, 2020) Governor Kim Reynolds has announced that she is allocating an additional $28 million in direct relief to Iowa’s hospitals and local county health departments to help manage increased needs due to COVID-19. The funding comes from the $1.25 billion in federal CARES Act funds allocated to the state.
