New Keep It QC Gift Card Provides Way to Shop and Gift Locally

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 12, 2020) — The Quad Cities Chamber has launched the Keep It QC gift card and rewards program as part of its Keep It QC movement, focused on improving our economy and community through local spending. The program is a way for consumers to buy local or to gift local to others by purchasing cards redeemable at a variety of area merchants.

Downtown Davenport Partnership Presents Downtown Master Plan to Davenport City Council During October 27 Work Session

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 26, 2020) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP), an affiliate of the Quad Cities Chamber, will present a proposed strategic master plan to the Davenport City Council during a public work session at 4PM, Tuesday, October 27. After reviewing the draft master-plan documents, the plan will be added to upcoming city-council agendas for further public input.

Quad Cities Chamber Opposes Increased Income-Tax Changes in Illinois

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 29, 2020) — The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce joined other business groups in opposition to the proposed State of Illinois Constitutional amendment raising personal and corporate income-tax rates from a flat rate to a graduated rate. The amendment is on the ballot for the upcoming November 3 election.
