$10,000 in Scholarships Available Through Ascentra Scholarship Competition

BETTENDORF, IOWA (November 6, 2020) — The Ascentra Credit Union Scholarship Competition is underway for the 2020-2021 school year. A total of $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded to ten Ascentra members to help offset the costs of attending a college or university or even trade school. Scholarships are awarded as follows:

BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 14, 2020) — As of October 2020, nearly 160,000 people, including 55,000 children are now facing food insecurity in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. “There are over 50,000 more people in our service area who do not have enough food because of COVID-19,” said Mike Miller, president and CEO of River Bend Foodbank.
